The new Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security headquarters is a major government development in Windhoek, bringing the Ministry’s key services together under one roof. Constructed by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation in partnership with Oshilongo Investment and Construction Company, the multi-storey building was completed in 2022 and now serves as a central point for services including identity documents and birth and death certificates. Ohorongo CEM II/A-LL 42.5 cement formed part of the concrete solution used during construction, contributing to a significant addition to Windhoek’s public infrastructure.
