Ohorongo Cement again walked away victorious when it was awarded the NMA Manufacturer of the Year 2015 Award last night.
The event took place at the Safari Hotel & Conference Centre and takes place annual, covering different categories in which NMA members are judged:
- NMA Manufacturer
- NMA Small (SME) Manufacturer
- NMA New Manufacturer
- NMA Medium (SME) Manufacturer
- NMA Best Ambassador for Manufacturing in Namibia
- NMA Most Environmentally Friendly
- OVERALL WINNER: MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR
This year, Ohorongo Cement again scooped up awards in the following sections:
- OVERALL WINNER: NMA MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR
- Gold Award: NMA Best Ambassador for Manufacturing in Namibia
- Gold Award: NMA Most Environmentally Friendly Manufacturer of the Year
- Silver Award: NMA Corporate Manufacturer of the Year
In 2013, the company was also crowned NMA Manufacturer of the year and walked off with 5 awards in total. In 2014, the company again won various awards throughout various categories.
This should proof that Ohorongo Cement is truly dedicated to support Government in the Industrialisation of Namibia and that it is a true ambassador for manufacturing in the country.
