Ohorongo Cement through its social investment arm Ohorongo Otavi Community Trust (OOCT), donated a further 36 tons of cement, towards the completion of the Etunda Farm Primary School’s hostel on Tuesday (11 July 2017).

The hostel and school which will accommodate about 200 leaners is expected to open its door to the children residing in the rural areas of the Otjozondjupa region in 2018.

“The donation and the delivery of the cement are to honor our pledge made by our Managing Director, Mr Hans-Wilhelm Schütte, during the opening of the Etunda Clinic in May this year. Founding President Dr Sam Nujoma received the cement and thanked Ohorongo Cement for honoring its pledge to the school saying, “I comment Ohorongo Cement for this gift to our children. We want the hostel and the school to start operating as soon as possible and this cement will help accelerate the construction process”.
