Ohorongo Cement, in partnership with its CSI partner Support Ulm e.V., today handed over a consignment of medical equipment to the Ministry of Health and Social Services, reaffirming a long-standing and valued partnership.
The donation, valued at approximately N$3.285 million, includes essential items such as infant incubators, hospital beds, mattresses, bedside tables, medical scales and other critical equipment. While modest in size, the consignment is significant in purpose – supporting healthcare facilities and, most importantly, helping to protect the lives of newborn babies, who
represent the future of Namibia.

This handover continues a tradition of cooperation between Support Ulm e.V., Ohorongo Cement and the Ministry, built on a shared commitment to strengthening public healthcare through practical and meaningful support. Sincere appreciation was extended to all partners who made this donation possible, including Blaauws Transport for transporting the container from Walvis Bay to Windhoek, GenMed Enterprises for the technical assessment of the equipment, and the Woker Freight Services
team for assisting with customs clearance.

Ohorongo Cement and Support Ulm e.V. remain grateful for the strong collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, guided by the belief that lasting impact is achieved through partnership and teamwork.

On behalf of Support Ulm e.V. and Ohorongo Cement, warm wishes were extended to all for a Merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year.
