Following sunscreen donation in April 2024, worth N$ 860,000, Support Ulm e.V., donated additional sunscreen formulated application for sensitive skin to Support in Namibia of Albinism Sufferers Requiring Assistance (SINASRA), on the 21st. November 2025. The combined donations are worth N$868,250.00.
Mr. Amalovu said that the donation was specifically aimed to assist and meet SINASRA halfway in supporting people living with albinism in Namibia, by caring for their sensitive skins especially during the scourging and burning sun in summer.
Sunscreen is a basic application for people living with albinism, however application like these ones is extremely expensive, unfordable and in most cases not readily available. Therefore, Support Ulm e.V find it valuable to generously support SINASRA with the crucial necessity.
The donations were delivered at School for Visually Impaired and received SINASRA Board Members: Mr. Paulus Johannes (SINASRA Secretary), Dr. Lise D. Kakupa (Medical Officer cum SINASRA Board Member), Ms. Emma Nashipili, (Registered Nurse cum SINASRA Board Member), and Ms. Neidel, (Teacher at School for Visually Impaired).
SINASRA Secretary Mr. Paulus Johannes conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to both Support Ulm e.V and Ohorongo Cement for the ongoing generous support. He underscored that this is the first assistance they have received since this year. He also alluded that there is severe need for skin protection lotion especially for people living with albinism.
SINASRA is an organization created with the primary objective to provide emotional and other general supports to people with albinism in Namibia.
Support Ulm e.V., is a non-profit organization based in Ulm, Germany, under the management and guidance of Prof. Dr. Heinz Maier. Following the donation in April 2024 worth, the organization donated additional sunscreens specially formulated for sensitive skins to SINASRA (Support in Namibia of Albinism Sufferers Requiring Assistance), on 21 November 2025. SINASRA is an organization created with the primary objective to assist people with albinism in Namibia.
