RedBull Amaphiko in collaboration with Ohorongo Cement, Gondwana, Neo Paints and Fresh FM will host a Graffiti Workshop this Saturday, 10:00 at the Gondwana Shebeen at the Windhoek Showgrounds. Special guest of honour will be world renowned graffiti artist Monstariam, who hails from Kuwait.

Monstariam, formally known as Mohammed Abuhakmeh has been branding and dabbling in street art for over a decade and is a full-time graphic designer by day and a graffiti artist by night.

Praised as one of the top graffiti artists in Kuwait, he obtained his degree in Multimedia from Bradley Academy in Pennsylvania and is currently known as and one of the best in the region.
When asked about his pet peeves, he says not seeing colour in arts is his as his most expensive purchases are spray paints and this he uses to create his master pieces with.

When he isn’t glued to his computer screen planning his next project, he is out on the streets implementing creative artwork on walls all over Kuwait city and educating young kids on graffiti art.

Bringing his set of skills and knowledge about graffiti to Namibia, Monstariam through this exclusive graffiti workshop will also bring forth a talk on doodling, painting and sketching among other things.

If you find yourself wanting to learn a thing or two about graffiti then this workshop is surely for you.
